Editing a Canvas

Click the canvas in the chat to open it. Once you have a canvas document open, you can edit it just like any other text editor.

Tips for Working with Canvas

  1. Use Markdown: Canvas supports Markdown formatting for rich text.

  2. Be specific with edit requests: When asking the AI to edit your canvas, be specific about what you want changed.

  3. Save automatically: Your canvas content saves automatically as you type and when you close the canvas.

  4. Copy content: Use the copy button in the toolbar to copy your canvas content to use elsewhere.

You can ask the AI to “turn this into a canvas” when you want to convert any text output into an editable canvas document.
