Questions
Before you switch.
- Do all Venice models have the same privacy protections?
- No. Venice documents Anonymous, Private, TEE, and E2EE modes. Anonymous-mode providers may retain content; Private mode promises no prompt or response retention. TEE and E2EE are model-specific Pro features, and E2EE disables web search and memory. These modes were checked on October 29, 2026; see Venice’s privacy source in the feature rows.
- Is Bearly’s chat encryption the same as Venice’s E2EE inference?
- No. Bearly encrypts saved chats and sync end to end. Prompts still reach Bearly’s execution service and the model provider. Venice describes device-to-enclave encryption for its E2EE models; see the privacy source in the feature rows, checked October 29, 2026.
- Does Bearly’s web search keep nothing?
- Web search sends the provider your query, never your name, account, or IP address. The provider may keep the query. ZDR mode covers chat models, not web search, images, video, voice, or other tools.
