Claude and GPT through one zero-retention API.

Call Bearly’s models from your own code with the OpenAI or Anthropic SDK, and every API request goes to a zero-retention route. The model provider doesn’t keep your prompt or the response.

Create a key in Bearly and spend the same credits as in the app. No provider keys needed.

GPT with the OpenAI SDK

Set the OpenAI SDK's base URL to Bearly and use your Bearly key. The Responses and Chat Completions APIs both work, for GPT, Grok, and Bearly's own models.

Base URL https://api.bearly.ai/v1

gpt.py

import os
from openai import OpenAI

client = OpenAI(base_url="https://api.bearly.ai/v1", api_key=os.environ["BEARLY_API_KEY"])
response = client.responses.create(model="gpt-6.1-sol", input="Hello", max_output_tokens=1000)
print(response.output_text)

Claude with the Anthropic SDK

Set the Anthropic SDK's base URL to Bearly and use the same key. Claude models use the Messages API.

Base URL https://api.bearly.ai

claude.py

import os
from anthropic import Anthropic

client = Anthropic(base_url="https://api.bearly.ai", api_key=os.environ["BEARLY_API_KEY"])
message = client.messages.create(model="claude-sonnet-5-5", max_tokens=200,
                                 messages=[{"role": "user", "content": "Hello"}])
print(message.content[0].text)

What changes when you switch

Stays the same

  • The official OpenAI or Anthropic SDK, and the request and response format your code already uses.

Different

  • Your key comes from Bearly, and requests spend your Bearly credits. You don't need an OpenAI or Anthropic key.
  • Find models at https://api.bearly.ai/v1/models, no key needed, and use each ID exactly as listed.
  • Responses aren't stored, so send the conversation history with each call.
  • Provider-hosted tools, such as built-in web search, aren't available. Neither are Gemini models.
  • Up to 10 requests can run at once per account.

Is there a zero-data-retention API for Claude and GPT?

Yes: Bearly’s API. Call Claude with the Anthropic SDK and GPT or Grok with the OpenAI SDK, and every API request goes to a zero-retention route. Create a key in Bearly, set your SDK’s base URL to api.bearly.ai, and spend the same credits as in the app. You don’t need an OpenAI or Anthropic key.
