# Generate images

Bearly can create an image from an ordinary chat request. The result opens in an image gallery where you can revise the prompt, compare available image models, and keep working from any result.

## Create an image



1. **Choose Image Generation**

   Open a chat, type `/`, and select **Generate Image**. You can also ask for an image directly in an ordinary message, such as “Generate an image of…”

2. **Describe the result**

   Name the subject and the details that would change the composition: setting, point of view, medium, lighting, mood, and any text that must appear.

3. **Send the request**

   Bearly creates an image and opens the gallery in the conversation. The focused result shows the model and prompt used; the thumbnail strip keeps earlier results close at hand.



If you do not request a particular image model, Bearly chooses the default. You can make a comparison after the first result without rewriting the request.

## Refine and compare results

The gallery is a working surface, not just a preview:

- Edit the text in **A scene, a style, a mood...**, then select one of the labeled model buttons to create a new result.
- Select **Enhance** to see a more detailed version of your prompt. Choose **Use this** to put the suggestion into the prompt field, or **Dismiss** to keep your wording.
- Select **Re-run** beneath a focused result to repeat the same prompt with the same model.
- Select **Edit** to use the focused image as the starting point for a change.
- Use the left and right arrow keys to move through completed images while the gallery is in view and the prompt field is not active.

Each model button runs separately. This makes it possible to compare interpretations while keeping the same prompt. Completed models are marked for that exact prompt; change the prompt or use **Re-run** when you want another attempt.

## Save or inspect an image

Move over the focused image on a computer, or use its always-visible actions on a touch device, to find:

- **Copy image** for placing the image on the clipboard.
- **Download** for saving the original generated file.
- **View full size** for a larger preview with zoom controls.

The image remains part of the chat, so you can return later and continue from it.

> **Caution**
> Generated images can contain inaccurate text, anatomy, logos, or small details. Inspect anything consequential at full size before publishing or presenting it.


## If an image does not finish

- If a result says **Blocked**, revise the prompt or remove explicit details and try again.
- If a result says **Failed**, remove that failed item, then retry the prompt or choose a different model.
- If an image preview will not load, reopen the chat and try **View full size**. Generate it again if the file is no longer available.
- If the image controls are unavailable, the chat may be read-only or a managed-team policy may have disabled image tools. Ask the project owner or a team administrator for access.
- Image generation uses your account's AI credits. If Bearly reports a usage limit, review [Billing and usage](https://bearly.ai/docs/account/billing-usage.md) before retrying.
