# Combine images

> Select several source images, explain how their elements should relate, and create a new composite in the image gallery.

Bearly can use several images as references for one new composition—for example, placing a product in a scene, combining people from separate pictures, or moving an object into a different setting.

## Create a composite



1. **Choose Edit Image**

   Open a chat, type `/`, and select **Edit Image**. Combining images uses the same command as editing one image.

2. **Attach the source images**

   Select the plus icon beside the message box, choose **Attach files**, and add at least two images.

3. **Explain each image's role**

   Refer to the images by their order or visible content, and describe how their subjects should relate.

   Use the room in the first image as the setting. Place the green armchair from the second image beside the window, at a believable scale. Keep the room's camera angle and evening light.

4. **Send the request**

   Bearly creates an initial composite and opens the image gallery. The new result appears alongside its sources, with small source-image references beneath the focused image.



The composite is a new image; the source files remain unchanged. Select **Edit** on the new result to refine it, or **Re-run** to try the same instruction again.

## Remix sources in the gallery

When the source images are already in an open gallery:

1. Focus the image that should determine the scene or composition, then select **Edit**. The gallery shows **Editing 1 image** and **Select more to remix**.
2. Select each additional source thumbnail. The editing count changes as images are added or removed.
3. Enter the combination instruction in **What should change...**.
4. Select one of the labeled editing-model buttons to create the composite.

Use **Upload images** in the thumbnail strip to add another reference. Select **Cancel** if you need to clear the current group and start again.

## Make the relationship unambiguous

Combination prompts work best when they answer three questions:

- Which image supplies the setting or base composition?
- Which subject or object should come from each other image?
- Where should those elements appear, and what should remain unchanged?

Mention relative scale, foreground or background placement, viewing angle, and lighting only when they matter. If the images disagree sharply in perspective or light, say which source should take priority.

> **Caution**
> Combining images is a generative edit, not a cut-and-paste operation. Bearly may reinterpret a face, product, logo, texture, or background while building the new scene. Review identity-sensitive and brand-sensitive details closely.


## If the images do not combine as intended

- Confirm that every needed thumbnail is selected and that the gallery shows the correct editing count.
- Choose **Cancel** to clear the selection, then start again from the image that should control the composition.
- Rewrite the prompt so each source has one clear role. Avoid “this” or “that” when several images contain similar subjects.
- If the result mixes up two sources, name them by visible content rather than only by order.
- For a crowded result, combine two images first, then edit that result with the next source.
- If Bearly cannot load one of the sources, upload that image again and reselect the group.
