Confer documents an encrypted channel from your device into a trusted execution environment, with remote attestation and reproducible builds. Bearly’s end-to-end encryption covers saved chats and sync; prompts still reach its execution service and the model provider. Confer’s architecture sources were checked October 29, 2026 and appear in the sources in the encryption row.

### Does Confer offer search, memory, and tools?

Its homepage advertises web search with sources, controlled memory, tool use, MCP, image understanding, ChatGPT import, and folders. We checked that copy on October 29, 2026. ### Does Bearly train AI on my chats?
